Absolutely. My sister is mentally retarded. I believe that when I see her in Heaven, she will be perfect.

look put aside religion for a second, first off there is growing proof of people that can contact and communicate with people that have died. john edwards and sylvia brown come to mind here. but if that is too occult for you then look up book Life after Life by DR Raymond Moody. also Reunions by the same author. it is possible to find a way to take your soul travel out and about contact spirits there (dead or otherwise) and return. in modern terms this is called out of body experience. in old occult teminology it was called astral projection. another good author in this area because he opened an institute to scientifically study this phenomena is Robert Monroe and the Monroe institute

I think that people who think we can litteraly see and touch our loved ones again, when in heaven, must suffer from a delusion. Maybe there is some kind of spiritual heaven, who knows, but it can't be concrete. If it relies on faith it can't be physical and objective at the same time.

it depends on how do you view heaven, For me everything including us is just a form of energy, always changing to be balance, which makes us living.
when we die, the energy we are being is will just transformed into another form which is needed to maintain the whole system of the changing balance.
what people think is just their belief. religion is not true. Science is.
All our thoughts are just bunches of brain activities, part of our physical structure to control our life to maintain breathing life. nothing really matters. What we remembers, feels, smells, sees, hears, tastes, doesn;'t matter.
and yes there is heaven, where moving positive and negative energies concentrates in near to equal.

I believe in heaven. I also believe that our bodies are used as a vessel to carry our soul. Once your dead , your spirit goes on to live either in heaven or hell,by you making the choice on how you live your life. I also feel that memory exists only in our mortal life. You are the spirit that God made you. God didn't make our soul with memories, just our human form.

Yes. So many prayers, so many concerns about life after death.
Will we see our loved ones? Who gets there? What about hell? So much sadness that it is time to be clear.
If you want to know what heaven is like, then read its constitution and covenant http://one-heaven.org
Few people have yet bothered and even fewer know about it, which is extraordinary considering people pray for miracles all the time. No rush. It exists.

i believe in an afterlife. that there are a wide range of places to go after one dies. our family is there, our friends are there. is it a heaven like christians describe it? probably not. most christians cant even decide on what a heaven should be. strumming a harp, wild christian music, whatever. i doubt thats what the afterlife is going to be.
i think it'll probably be like its described in greek mythos. the elysian fields. just like real life, only you're dead.

Heaven is heaven, like in space.
If you think of your soul as a tranparent volatile mini-you, then this doesn't make sense.
But if you think of it as a vibrating energy, then the concept might have some meaning.
