iam on wanadoo broadband and every time my phone rings my PC goes offline.?

if its dsl then put phone connection in phone in dsl spliter & PC in pc .. MAKE SURE THAT THE FIRST DEVICE CONNCETING THAT CONNECTION BROADBAND IS PC

From what I've known, your problem seems like a Dial-Up. Because Broadband won't interfere with such occasion.

just do one thing open you mod rm setting and see that there is a option which say that no incoming calls just make the thing disable and see if it works.
