You should have a moisturizer designed for the area it is to work on. I would recommend the following:
Body- A shea and coco butter based lotion or Aveeno (a very nice lotion that works well for sensitive skin). I've used Aveeno before and like it but Coco butter is great at fading scars, stretch marks and burns. If you don't like the smell of natural coco butter there are now other scented lotions available.
Face- I strongly recommend Eucerin. It absorbs quickly, doesn't feel greasy, works great for sensitive skin, can helps makeup glide on smoothly (though all lotions will do this) and has an SPF protection from 15-30 depending on the product you chose. This is the brand I have trusted for years, before I started using it I noticed little wrinkles forming on my forehead (too much sun and squinting into it I suppose) those lines have completely vanished.
Eyes- The skin around your eyes is much more delicate then the skin found any were else on your body. Avoid applying any lotion except for those designed to treat the area. If you have dark circles under your eyes from the area being a little more shallow then your cheeks chose a eye cream designed to really moisturize if not just chose one to keep your skin soft and prevent any wrinkles. (Much easier then trying to "cure" them) I'm not going to recomend a brand to you since I'm still experimenting.
You may also want to choose a separate lotion for your hands but the lotion you use for your body should work just fine.

Helpful hints:
Apply lotion right after you shower to your entire body working from head to toe.
If you've really dry skin apply a generous amount of lotion before you go to bed and cover the area. If you are just applying lotion to your hands or feet cover them with a clean cotton sock. (If you have to wash your hands often for work this does wonders to help prevent dry skin) If you are treating your entire body then long underwear (or leggings or long-johns) can be used. This shouldn't be an every day thing as just after you shower should be enough!
When you apply the lotion to your face *always* pat or dab it on never rub! Pulling too much on your skin over time will cause it to lose its elasticity.

Think of RuPaul- anyone who can look that good as a man OR a woman knows what they are doing. Part of that is having really great skin... and his secret is moisturizing every day after showering.

Dove has a great facial moisturizer! I use the one for sensitive skin and love it. For a less expensive alternative, try St. Ives Collagen Elastin Moisturizer (for all skin types).

After you shower, take a glass of cream milk and pour over yourself slowly and rubbing it onto the skin at the same time..let your skin soak it in for a few mins and rinse with water and pat urself dry..it will moisturise and also help with sun burn.
