I stopped working at the age of 32 because of the stress of getting out of bed every morning.
My wife has always worked , but she has suddenly declared she will work no more!!
I found her a job helping a local farmer pick up potatoes just for 8 hours a day, and the money would help towards my beer money. She won't do it!!
I am 75 now and it's too late to get another wife, my wife is a very fit 80 year old ,( except for her crippled foot).
How do I get her back to work??

Tell her how much you care for her and it's good for her to meet other people (working in the potato field) and also the exercise will be good for her foot, & If that does not work club her with her stick until she does go back. hope this helps

If you are 75, have a computer with internet connection, and can actually navigate well enough to get to this site to complain about an 80 yr-old wife...Then YOU need to get out there and WORK for your own beer money!

i had the same problem, heres what i did.....tell her that there has been a break through in medical science and is now proved that picking potatoes in your 80's will take years off your life and improve your health, my wife now does 16 hour days and brings my dinner down the pub for me! she says that she does'nt feel that well, but iv'e told her to give it time!
