Most surely. I you are exposed to blood, semen, or any other discharge that might be present, and if there are open cuts or sores on the lips or the glans, then STD's can be contracted, even HIV. Herpes can be contracted this way as well if the sores are on the "head".
Your best call for safety... stay "clean" and wear a condom.

AIDS is caused by HIV (Human-Immunodeficiency Virus). There are only 4 routes of transmission for HIV:
1. Blood transfusion
2. Vertical transmission (mother to child)
3. IVDU (Intra-venous Drug Users) - sharing needles
4. Sexual intercourse

So, you are asking can AIDS be transmitted by oral sex, well, as you can look into the routes of transmission, the transmission is all about contact with body fluid. Oral sex is also a way to transmit body fluids from penis to mouth. So, it can be a possibility of transmission too. For example, you can be in contact with the semen, or maybe you have ulcers or he has wound on his penis. Then, this transmission is similar to blood tranfusion. So better stop it. Condoms are useless as they are only 99.9% safe. You never know when you could get the 0.1% of chance. Abstinence is the only prevention!

Also, there is a small possiblity that the infected party's teeth could cause microscopic cuts on your penis for the virus to be transfered through, unlikely, but it could happen. Just use a condom, like any sexual act. Plus, if you have gonnorhea or (maybe chlamydia? some other disease, but I can't remember which one) it's unlikely you'll have symptoms (because you're male), and you won't know you have it. BUT you can pass that on to the person who is performing oral sex on you. So be safe, and use condoms.
