I just saw a picture of LaToya Jackson and she looked just like Michael: "White", with a ridiculously thin nose, thin lips etc. They could just as well go around with a big sign saying "Black is bad, white is good". Isn't this offensive to black people? I'm from Denmark, that's why I'm ignorant.

I don't think we hate them. They are just a family with problems and issues, their issues are just a lot different than most families and they are more public. I also don't think they are saying that white is always good, Michael started out wanted to blend his Blackness and become a whole new race, more a neutral race, he just messed the hell up and went wayyyyyyyyyy too far, Latoya has just been a nut from day one. I don't hate them, I am just glad I ain't them. As for the money, well if I had that much money I'd have issues too, but my nose sure as hell wouldn't be one of them!

Being an American, I would have to say most of my friends from the black community find the Jacksons more or less something to laugh at.

And after the laugh they are always quick to say, "If i had that kind of money, I'd be a freak too."

Instead of looking for any type of continuity, races in America insist on being polarized. They demand cultural recognition and hyphenate their identity despite not having any sense of their cultural roots.

Many African-Americans have no true cultural affiliations with Africa, but insist on the hyphenation and demand political recognition of their roots in an African Heritage month.
Naturally it's not a day of starvation, it's a day of dashikis and good eating the likes of which is seldom experienced in Africa outside of the immensley wealthy.
So, in America, there are more advantages offered economically and politically.

As long as we do this, we will remain polarized and we will continue to see minority cultures and experience inequalities.

And as our society developes it's wealthy through artistic endeavors, you'll see that personality demonstrated in the manner to which they (artistic people) choose to spend their wealth...opulent and freakish not excluded....

I think Michael's lighter complexion is not to look like a white person...but more because it gives him a sense of uniqueness and makes him think he looks "prettier" - thereby associating him with glamour and...wealth....

Why only black people?? Doesn't everyone hate the jacksons.

Nahh.. people like and hate according to taste.. Don't try and polarise people into black and white.. People are people regardless of colour.. You as Danish should know that so much better than your average american... OOPPPSSS.. I've just polarised people!!!!!
Do you see what I mean now?????
