If the father can't be found or is in a situation where he can't take the child then the baby is put in the care of the state until the mother gets released. Once she is released if she would like her baby back then she has to prove that she is capable of taking care of this child and a fit parent. If she can't do so then the state keeps the child, until they find a loving home for it.

It depends on the state where you are incarcerated. Some states have a nursery within the prison system, many do not. If you are talking about jail and not prison I am not sure. Keep in mind that no justice system would require any female to deliver in a cell. There would be arrangements made for this event to occur.

you dont actually give birth in jail ... you are taken to the hopital of course with officers all outside of you room ... then after you give birth .. a family member must pick the baby up within 48 hours or else it will be up for adoption.

either it goes to a family member or it is given over to the state and they place it in home till the mother gets out of jail and proves to be a fit mother

I don't think I want to know, but obviously if you're having a child, you shouldn't be having it in jail.

if the father or a relitive dont come to get it the baby will go to children and family services.you will still be able to get your baby back you just have to go threw the steps it will take.just make sure you go see about it as soon as you get out cause when you go to court the first time to get the baby back you will be asked why you didnt.
