first the tribe that you would be part of would have to own a casino, then they would have to approve you as being part of the tribe, my friends tribe has a casino and they are very very well aware of who is and isnt part of the tribe, they even do DNA tests on anyone who has a baby and claims them to be part of the tribe

In oklahoma, everybody is Indian, except me. I've never seen so many pale, blonde-haired Indians before. Seems like everyone gets money for something. Recently I know some people who got $50,000 to fix up their house from their tribe (the house was worth about $60,000 when they bought it last year, average for an older home here, and probably not worth more than $75,000, no matter how much money they put into it). So far they put in new windows and doors throughout, and a new roof.

It depends on how much Native American is in your blood, 1/4 1/8 what.

And what tribe you are from. Different tribes have different arangements. You need to be registered with your tribe and have official papers.

i don't think so..... if you could... probably just about everyone in america would all of a sudden be 'american indian'

no, but, if you can prove that you are of Native American decent than you can get a very large tax break.
