it's not because he's black. it's because he's a cheating steroid shooting bastard

Okay, you pulled this card, not the media and not baseball.

First lets look at Hank Aaron, he wasn't the biggest guy, he hit so many home runs thanks to his wrist movements and masterful weight distribution.

Now lets look at Barry Bonds, an arrogant asshole that doesn't want to get his grandma an electric wheel-chair because "she' gonna die anyway"
So in regards to the question: nobody wants to see Barry Bonds break the all-time record because he is:
1. A cheater who has knowingly taken performance enhancing drugs
2. An arrogant jerkoff that leads to media-frenzies when he says something crazy

He just doesn't deserve half his home runs nor does he deserve the record. This isn't a brother issue, this is a grand mother issue.

Don't play the race card with this situation. It has NOTHING to do with Bonds being black!! It has everything to do with his taking steroids and then lying under oath about it saying he didn't. Plus your question contains a gross exaggeration!! There are those who want to see Bonds break the all-time record for home runs. For sure they are in the minority, but you can't say, "Why doesn't anyone want......."

Nobody wants to see Barry Bonds break the record because he used steroids. But also is because he is black. Remember that Mcguire was using steroids also but nobody argues his home run record because he was white.

nothing to do with bond being black. u don't want a hard and earnestly earned record taken away by a cheat, do u? if that is so, then reinstate Ben Johnson's 100m gold medal in1998 Olympics. just imagine, if both Aaron and Babe had also taken steriods or played similarly high number of games, what the record could have been?

wow.. there's a lot of haters in this world.. i don't think it has to do with race

the 90's and the early part of the 21st century will be forever known as the steroid era.. let's not forget that bonds wasn't the only one doin' this stuff.. he's basically taking the blame for everyone else because he's on top.. let the man do his thing..

i hope he passes aaron.. and i'll congratulate him if or when he does..

the league knew damn well players were taking this stuff.. cmon now.. then they're going to point the finger at one person?

Rose is banned for gambling and can't even coach a team. Shoeless Joe went to his grave banned and still is for "cheating" when he had one of the best playoff performances in the history of baseball.

Everyone knows Bonds has been cheating and is taking away records from 2 awesome role models who earned their records fairly... and he's getting away scot-free.

It has nothing to do with race so don't even go pulling the race card......thats as lame as a no legged man!

It has everything to do with the fact that Hank Aaron was a classy man with talent.....two things that Bonds wouldn't know what they where if they came up and introduced themselves
