If their own child turns out gay will they hate him/her?

Because they haven't been educated. They are making a judgment about something they don't understand. If it was their own child... their love for their child would likely overcome their hate.

I has been well recorded the people who hate gay people dont have a very great education and are suspected of being latent gays themselves, and hate the chance that they may be gay. Any parent that would hate their own child because they were gay is a bad parent and should never have been allowed by god to have children in fact god should have cut off their *****, and they never loved their child anyway. One just can't turn love on and off at will.

You are asking the wrong question. The problem is that gays are being militant: trying to change marriage,etc. That is why. If people hated gays, trust me, they'd run back into the closet. People are trying to make a stand against this incredible immorality that gays are promoting: the notion of two gays standing before God Almighty, and getting married. You gotta have some moral fiber to know that's wrong!! Gays need to keep their hands off of sacred things. They are causing their own problems.

People are always wary of new things that they don't understand and they turn that wariness into hate. I used to be like that myself, very homophobic and contemptuous of gay people but then I discovered that a person I really admired and looked up to was gay and I've learned that they're just the same as anyone else and they're not out to "get" straight people. Lack of education, yes.

Yes they will hate their child too. It's not about gays; some people even hate artists because they can't understand art and think it is a waste of time.
People are scared and mistrustful of everything they don't understand. And some primitive-minded folks will even kill something harmless if they are scared of it.

Ignorance. And I can only hope that those who hate gays have a gay child. Then maybe they'll realise it's not a choice or a disease and open their minds a little bit.

because they are ignorant...and non acceptin of others and how other people live and think ....everyone has a right to love and be wit whoever they want wit out someone lookin over their shoulder all the time...tellin them what they can and cant do....i have gay friends so im koo wit gays..y should u treat a person any lesser because they like the same sex....i tell u what is the world comen to now a days!!!!

well it used to be that a lot of males did'nt like gay people but now a days people are getting used to it, so its definitely not like the way it was, I know, I was one of those people, but now, it does'nt make any difference to me , but I don't think that a parent is going to hate their child for being gay.

Well... the people who hate gay people are misguided. They are people and should be treated as such. Hating the act is another thing altogether. I do not agree with homosexuality or bisexuality, but I do not believe homosexuals or bisexuals should be hated.

Maybe because of their pasts. A lot of them may have been abused. They will probably have problems with their kids too if they turn out gay.
