Adam...who was the first man, was never considered by the Jewish or Christian faiths to be a prophet....( I never heard that one before,..... & I'm older than dirt ) He was created with smarts, but didn't always use them very well.....

......when he fell from fellowship with his Creator....he blamed both God & Eve for his failure...

"THIS WOMAN that YOU gave me, SHE gave me the fruit, and I did eat."

There was no first man because we evolved gradually into men. There would have been apes that looked more and more like modern humans over time. At some point, I guess you could draw a line and say "OK, from now on this group of animals are known as Homo sapiens, not Homo erectus. It's an arbitrary line.

Don't believe that "evolution" answer...the truth is found in the Bible; Genesis to be more specific. God created Adam, who was the first man to exist on earth.

By 'Man', I assume you mean the first to be considered human. The term human, in this context, refers to the genus Homo. Homo Habilis was the first species, therefore, to be considered 'Man'. The very name, Homo Habilis, means 'Handy Man'.

The first member of the Homo Habilis species lived in East Africa 2.4 million years ago.

I recommend the "Urantia Book" It kind of mixes God with Darwin and really makes a lot of sense.

No one knows. If you believe in fairy tales, then
maybe the answer is Adam, but there really is no
way to find out who he/she/it was.
