The force of gravity of one object on another is given by the equation
F = (GMm)/r^2
Where G is the universal gravitational constant, M is the mass of one object, m is the mass of the other, and r is the distance between the two.
You can see that the greater the mass of the two objects, the stronger the force of one on the other is.
In short, things that are more massive get a better tug.

Tides do affect humans. If you weighed yourself on a very sensitive scale at low tide, you'd be 1/4 of one millionth heavier than at high tide. (If you live on the equator--at other latitudes, the effect is smaller.) Of course, the natural fluctuations of our weight make this impossible to see, but it's possible to measure with a big weight and a good scale.
The reason tides affect the oceans is because they encircle the earth and are free to flow. Even though the extra weight of the oceans is such a small amount, it's enough to cause some water to flow from the low tide areas to the high tide areas.
Of course, when people got close to the moon, the moon's gravity affected them in the normal way--people walked on the moon the same way they'd walk on earth, because gravity was holding them down.

The attraction of two massive bodies is a function of the combined masses of the two bodies.
The ocean is quite heavy, and many many times heavier than the weight of a human.. The attraction therefore is going to be a damn site more than for a human.

well yes seen it revolves around the earth gravity pulls it in and the moon pulls back cause the earth to wobble how do you think it stays in are solar system? in fact it effects the earth so much the earth is allmost egg shape
