South Africa was chosen by FIFA as the site of the 2010 World Cup. However, the South African government and/or the South African World Cup Organizing Committee is behind schedule in building new stadiums and refurbishing existing stadiums. As a result, FIFA is becoming impatient and is contemplating the possibility of taking the selection away from South Africa and awarding it to another country.

Well we hope it will be South Africa, at the current rate we might loose it because Sa Fa has still not started building stadiums, revamping current stadiums, there is to a proper transport system in place, to be truthful the South African Football structure is up to crap these guys are going to wake up a little late and when they do they wil loose the right to host the 2010 WC. Believe me i know, I am from SA
