My ten week old son seems to be gulping and having a hard time keeping up with his bottle. I am wondering if anyone else had this problem. If yes, what bottles ended up working for you? He has rejected several others - playtex, avent, and second nature.

I used the same exact ones and I had the same exact problem...I actually had to change all of the bottles he uses to these ones from parents choice...I found them at target and they are awesome...they are the only ones he will use now

I have used many many bottles (dr.browns, avent, etc.) and the slowest I found were the playtex (nurser or ventair). The nipples I have are stage one and are blue. Also, try feeding your baby while he is in an upright position so that he has to pull at the nipple instead of the milk just being poured into his mouth. Also I recommend playtex because you can get the desposable liners and squeeze them to get all the air out before feeding. Good Luck!

im sad 2 hear this.these r my fave bottles EVER,by far.my son is 16 weeks and doesnt have any probs w them.i know the size 2 nipples r made 4 3 to 6 months, but im keeping my son on the size 1 for a bit longer.i love the snap on formula cups and the size of the mouth,i never waste any formula, plus he hardly gets any air.i have recommended these 2 everyone i know, prego or not.LOL!!i asked the question a couple of days ago if any1 knew what these bottles were and only 1 person did.LOL.o well.

i use avent for my baby and she is 4 months the nipple for her stage flows too fast so i just use the stage b4 that...breastfed babies are different so they can't really handle that fast flow...just use the stage b4 the one you have now....all babies are different my oldest daughter only liked playtex but my younger daughter likes avent...so i know you don't want to change nipples...sometimes you have to stop the flow by taking it out of her mouth and then putting it back in...babies are funny she maybe having a hard time but still likes it coming fast she will get used to it if she likes it
