you have to try and kill the queen like bees. get some special honey like poison that they will come to and that may take a while to find the right stuff(may have to call a professional), but once you find it and they start coming you'll have them.....for a while. they will come back if you live in a place where they are common. we have that and it is an ongoing battle. have to do that about 3 times a year. and if you can't handle it you'd better just move...and ask the new neighbors where you are moving if they have had the problem, at least that's what i'm going to do:)

Locate wherein they're getting into from the external. You will have to practice a "bait" product, so as to goal the Queen and do away with the colony. You should buy this at a Nursery or probably a colossal Hardware retailer, be certain to inform the earnings character the sort/colour of ant, or take a pattern of two or three in a jar to exhibit. The ants within the hourse will also be handled by means of a sprig pesticide.

If there is a place you can put them where your little ones won't pick them up but are still in the line that the ants travel, I've found that Combat Ant Baits are great! The ants think you're actually feeding them, tell all their ant friends about it, take the poison back to the nest (and their queen!) and you're rid of them in less than 48 hours!

Yes Take a solution of Sugar water and Boric acid. Place the solution out where the ants can get to it easily but the children cannot. The solution does not have to be strong. One teaspoon of Boric Acid per two cups of Koo-laid will do. Then change the solution out with fresh solution every 5 days for three weeks. This will kill them. What it does is the ants bring the Boric acid laced sugar water back to their nest and give it to the Queen. Once she is dead their are no more ants born to replace the ones killed due to poisoning. Do put the solution where your children cannot get to it. It will make them sick it they drink it. Or you could get an aardvark --- they live to eat ants.
