has anyone known someone who has had their name changed legally? also how long does it take?

yep they do i did the paralegal work for pple to dit themselves...its easy...just do it for religious reasons...they have to grant it what state do you live in ? maybe i can help u God changes pples names all the time...He has a pet name for u also

Every state has different laws. A judge always approves a name change unless it is for the reason of deception, to avoid identification or the name is considered vulgar or abusive.

Yes, but you kind of have to prove that you are not doing it to escape creditors or to evade legal action or any bad reason like that. You probably need an attorney to do the papers.

after they run the proper background check all that my aunt had to do was pay for it and it was done cost in Al 150$

When you get married and/or divorced. Because you want to be incognito with the boyfriend or so the "law" will not catch your illegal doings,ETC....Forget it.
