Like any other sharing program there is a serious risk of getting a virus or trojan, etc. Be very careful.

DO NOT USE LIMEWIRE. It is a very dangerous program, and makes your computer completely open to virus attacks.

If you really want to download files, use SoulSeek. It's a lot more secure, and is a flat-out better network.

you can download movies from limewire, but to watch them it will open your media player, as for virus attacks, be careful, but I would be more worried about getting caught downloading copyrighted files ilegally
