This is a branch from an unknown berry tree found in a garden in Melbourne, Australia. I'm not sure if it's a native plant.
Birds love to eat the berries.
It's about 15 ft tall.

Does anyone know what it is?

I'm pretty sure this isn't a blueberry tree - there is a blueberry tree in the same garden and it looks different to the plant shown in the pictures above.

I'm pretty sure it's not an Elderberry either!

Botanical name:Sambucus
There are five species to this tree although animals and birds love it it can somewhat poisonous to humans causing severe nausea
These trees depending on the variety have blue to red fruit and it is the red fruit that causes the nausea.this tree is found in the coastal regions.
The other variety with the blue fruit Native to wide area , USA-Mexico-Desert regions-Europe-Asia

That looks like a limb from a blueberry bush, with slightly dried out berries. Im not sure where they originated, but I know they grow a lot of them in western Michigan, USA. They grow them in orchards there, and keep the bushes trimmed lower...say, 5 to 8 feet. And, yeah, the birds love 'em.
