sorry but on earth our atmosphere acts like a lens (it magnifies)
if in space, the sun itself would seem as a pale red star, if you could ask neil armstrong why the controversy, it would probably be because of what he saw ( or didnt see) that kept the hushh going. :)

Definitely yes! Actually you can see vastly more stars in space than from Earth because in space there's no atmosphere to dim their brightness.

Of course you can. You can see them even better than you do on Earth. On earth our atmosphere interferes with our vision, that is not the case in space.
