probably are but then most of english society is that way inclined , you should go to T in the park in Scotland I`ve been twice and its brilliant , scottish people are more down to earth and are generally a more friendly nation whatever you do though enjoy

Not a chance, you just have to look at the numerous rock and metal festivals such as Download festival (originally castle donningtons monsters of rock), Glastonbury, Reading, Bloodstock open air. The only critism i have is that fact that download festival has a franchise doing the catering which means food prices are sky high.

Can tell that a lot of people here have never been to Glastonbury, Knebworth , The Isle of Wight festival or any of the huge free music festivals.

i've got attended to Sonisphere competition 2 months in the past and it replaced into magnificent. I observed Iron Maiden, Alice Cooper, Mastodon, Slipknot and In Flames. I enjoyed even Slipknot and that i've got been given very excited when I observed Bruce Dickinson on the degree. i can't forget approximately it. it is the only stay overall performance i've got been to. i'm 14. i will see an excellent style of bands. i'm hoping :) MQ2:Led Zeppelin!!!!, Jefferson plane, The Who, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix and Jethro Tull. BQ:hmmm...There would be bands from a great number of genres. i can't think of of a recognition.

The festivals are good but try some low key ones. Dont judge the people - enjoy the music. Enjoy yourslef. Look for what you like and go there.

glastonbury...brilliant i am only an armchair spectator , but i love it,
the eavis's do a great job in finding the right acts, it's not on this year and that is a BIG shame! please do not class glastonbury in this bracket, the late great john peel would not get involved with corporate waste of time.
