all my friends go 4 guys based purely on their looks, an i couldn't be more different b'cos i only ever go 4 intelligent guys, no matter what they look like....to an extent.xx do all girls an guys just go 4 looks??

if i meet an intelligent guy then i'm really really interested in him and 4 some reason i just totally 4get what they look like. i think some1 who is really intellegent and interesting makes them look gorgeous!!

having great looks is a gift and most of the time, people go for the handsome or beautiful ones. you have to admit, these are attractive people and it's only normal that a girl gets attracted to a handsome guy and vice versa. there are ideals that people want to follow - like your friends and you. sometimes, it's the brain that does the talking, that takes a stand about what you want in another person or that you like this specific person; and that's not really a problem. we all have expectations about another and as much as possible, we want to be able to live by our ideals of a great relationship to a particular person.
sometimes, it's the heart that tells you who you like. and when this happens, you don't usually stick to your ideals (unless you're the lucky one and you get what you want in another person). when love is concerned, you don't get to choose. love finds its way in people and whatever you do to fight it back (mainly because you're not expecting to like or love this specific guy - it's just not you; you don't see yourself with this person), you find out just can't order your heart around.
you know when things are serious, or when everything's just a fling.

So, do you go for ugly intelligent guys or handsome ones? Sometimes, hormones will do the choosing, other times, the brain, or a combination of the two. The combo is usually the better choice.

most of guys also will see girls depends on their look.
you know why? it's so easy, it's because the look is the very 1st thing we will see by our own eyes to every person we met.
add some feelings to have the interest.
it is normal if we go for the look 1st...
but not all of us will satisfy after we can get them know more...coz sometimes, physics look aren't everything...still the beauty within attract the most.

There has to be some kind of physical attraction. Nice eyes, cute smile.....But over all I think what matters most is personality.

don't worry, your not alone, i'm into smart guys too. its not that im not into beautiful people, its just that most of the time, smart people are way more interesting. the best about smart people is that they are capable of intellectually stimulating conversations which helps me learn more about life and everything.
beauty fades but wisdom stays.
