Well you could try having a heart to heart talk with your Dad.
Tell him how important it is for you to have a good male role model. That ignoring the projects that you should be working on together, you may become attracted to good for nothing, lazy, no account, cant find a job, sponge off the family, live at home until he's forty guys., and that your becoming a slut who will give it up for a pack of smokes and a double deuce will be all his fault.

I'm assuming that your father works for a living. If so, maybe you could take over his responsibilities around the house for a week & then perhaps mention that you realized he was so busy that he hadn't been able to help with the project. Thus you did all this for him hoping he could squeeze some time for you. That always works when my sons (twin 17 year olds & twin 14 year olds) do that for me. I even feel a little guilty that maybe I'm stealing their childhood, so I pay a bit more attention for awhile. Good luck, and happy bonding!

He is ssoooo lazy that he goes to work every day so that you can eat, live in a house and wear clothing. All while you complain about a project on the internet that is on the computer your dad paid for.
LAY OFF.
Go get the man a beer and tell him you appriceate what he does for you.

Hide the beer. What's the project? remodel? some type of construction? Tell him that it really needs to be done, and if he doesn't think he is capable of doing this job, you'll find someone else, like your little sister. Maybe he'll get off his a**. Stand a good distanct from him if you choose that route. I don't want to be the cause of a domestic violence suit. Good luck

Are you still living at home or is dad living with you.........there's two ways to look at it. If your living at home, it's really none of your business, and if he lives with you, you should have enough respect for your dad just because he's you dad, not to be saying that he is lazy. I would never disrespect one of my parents like this.........

You said "We" started the project. Does it mean that you are part of it? If so, take the lead and put him to shame. Tell him the project continues this weekend and hold him to it.
Fathers hate to look stupid.

well, instead of wasting your time doing this, like me, have a little talk with him maybe at dinner or something and do not accuse him, but ask about it nicely, maybe try getting him started on a subject he likes and then slowly lead him into answering the question. try to find something to motivate him too

Tell him the project really means a lot to you so that he'll HAVE TO DO IT... if not get a rope and pull him to the workshop and make him do it
