He wasn't the greatest President ever, but at least the economy as growing steadily and people had jobs (including the Prez himself - LMAO). Oh yeah, and I do believe we had a balanced budget once again, didn't we? ; )
I'm no fan of the Democrats nor the Republicans, so I vote third party all the time. But things seemed to get done on his watch.

Gas when he left office was over $1.30 a gallon & the President has NO control over gas prices. When will you guys get it - oil companies set price - oil companies get profit. Speaking of morons. Clinton is going down as one of the few Impeached Presidents & people will remember little more than he was charming & said what everyone wanted to hear. He allowed the world to get into this shape so that President Bush has had to clean it up. Everyone can not play the nice guy.
Clinton did not balance the budget, congress did. All he was invloved in with it was the end to take credit & sign bill. He had no part of the balancing of the budget. Check your history.

He built a surplus and started to rebuild the middle class. Except NAFTA he did ok. I remember in the late 90s when McDonald's paid $8.00 to $9.00hr start. Clinton was more in touch with the middle class because he knows what it is like to be poor and work his way up but he was a bad husband no doubt

1. Clinton created the largest surplus, Bush the biggest deficit. 2.Clinton lied about his PRIVATE sex life, Bush lied about why our young boys and girls had to go and die in Iraq (weapons of mass destruction?). Clinton actually graduated from Yale with honors and won a Rhodes scholarship to Oxford U. on his own with out help from Daddy big Bush. Bush lied about his service in the national guard and was a rich spoiled "C" student with a coke and drinking habit who failed every business opportunity his daddy ever gave him including presidency. With 28% approval rating in his 2nd term. Clinton had a 68% approval rating after impeachment. He related and supported the middle class. Bush want to destroy it by letting in slave labor (illegals) who bring middle class wages down, outsourcing our higher paying tech and manufacturing jobs. Clinton held corporations in check. Bush sold America to the highest bidder.
