Ill have to say Dallas, my heart is with miami, but if you ask who would i bet a million dollars on, it would be dallas.
Lets break it down why the mavericks will win:
1. Dirk Nowitzski, who do they have to guard him, there best defender other than wade is Udonis Haslem, and all Dirk will do is shoot over him.
2. Shaq, i love the Diesel but shaq is going to get run out of the building, the second best run and gun team in the league is Dallas behind pheonix.
3. Foul trouble, this will be the big key, can shaq stay out of it, and im not convinced he can, there is going to be a lot of flopping by Dampier, and the refs are going to take account to shaq's forearm shoves at opposing defenders.
4. Players 3-8 on Miami, can jason williams, Haslem, Walker, payton, posey, can they be productive from a scoring aspect, can they stop settling for 3 pointers, and take the ball strong to the hoop.
So in conclusion, what have we learned, well its lights out
for the heat. I will give Miami two games, dallas will win it in 6 games, and close it out in miami.
You Miami fans cant forget either, D.J. Mbenga got Suspened for 6 games for going into the stands, they really could have used his fouls against shaq.

Yes. Shaq will get Damp/Diop duo in foul trouble and give Miami a couple of wins. But the Mavs pull it out in game 6 at the AAC!
American Airlines has got to be loving this; all games are at the AAA and the AAC :D

Funny, that is kind of what I was thinking, but at least you are thinking logically because the Heat won't let the Mavs just take this one.

Not me. I'm a die-hard Heat fan. I just posted a similar question. Truthfully though, I think it can go either way. Both are great teams. It's going to be an interesting and exciting series. But Dirk can't do it alone. The Heat is loaded...Shaq is always a big asset, the team is deep and they have a championship coach. Guess we'll see. Oh but don't underestimate the Heat. Detroit did and now they have indigestion from eating humble pie.

Mavs will use run and gun and tire Shaq out, so it's very possible in 6.
