I HAD A MISCARRIAGE AT 4-5 WEEKS AND I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW I WAS PREGNANT.
YOU COULD TAKE A PREGNANCY TEST CAUSE IT WILL SHOW UP TO 8 WEEKS OF TAKING A TEST AFTER HAVING A MISCARRIAGE. (FALSE POSITIVE)
Symptoms of a Miscarriage
Reasons for a miscarriage:
Early miscarriages in the first trimester are very common. If you've had a miscarriage don't get discouraged! Try again; the vast majority of woman will have a successful pregnancy later on. For those of you who have had multiple miscarriages it would be wise to consult a Reproductive Endocronolist.
Miscarriages result for many reasons. Some of those reasons are:
- Sperm or egg could have been deformed or not matured enough.
- The lining of your uterus wasn't the right environment.
- You suffer from fibroid tumors or endometriosis.
- The sac and/or yoke may not develop right.
- Injury to the stomach area
- Hormone Imbalances
- Low Progesterone
- Freight
There are a lot of possibilities out there but try not to dwell on what "might" have happened. Sometimes things are meant to be. If you are one of those who have had a miscarriage I offer my condolence. I too have experienced such a pain.
Symptoms:
Now we all know that no two people are the same. We all experience different symptoms with pregnancy. Below I listed a few symptoms of miscarriage. If you've gone through such an ordeal please feel free to post your symptoms on our forum. You will find the forum topic here: Conception Forum
Now some say that they don't even know they had one because it was so early and felt like a normal period. Others can tell the difference. Here are a few and still adding…
- Sever sharp uterine cramps (stronger than menses cramps)
- Heavy Red bleeding along with pink stretchy tissue (NOT cervical mucus)
- Cervix pain (pulsing and aching pain with a few sharp pains)
- Sever headaches (migraine types) *Also due to other issues
- Nausea *Also due to pregnancy or bad food
- Pregnancy symptoms (i.e. Brest tenderness, nausea) will start to fade.
Having these symptoms doesn't mean it is 100% positive you miscarried. If you think or assume you are pregnant take a pregnancy test. If it is too early to test but you are having abdominal cramps with no bleeding to spotting it could be a sign of implantation. Don't take every symptom to heart. If you are pregnant and do experience one of the first three symptoms please go see your doctor to run a quantitative test. They will test to make sure your pregnancy is doing well and will let you know if there are any problems.
Historically, types of miscarriage have been classified according to the physical signs your doctor notes upon examination. Advances in ultrasound make these classifications less useful than they once were, but you may still hear your doctor or other medical personnel refer to a miscarriage using these terms:
Threatened miscarriage. When you're bleeding but your cervix hasn't begun to dilate, you have a threatened miscarriage. This doesn't mean you'll have a miscarriage. In fact, these pregnancies frequently proceed without any further problems.
Inevitable miscarriage. When you're bleeding, your uterus is contracting and your cervix is dilated, an inevitable miscarriage is taking place. The miscarriage can't be stopped.
Complete miscarriage. When you've had the miscarriage and none of the tissue from the pregnancy remains in your uterus, it's called a complete miscarriage. Miscarriages that occur before 12 weeks are usually complete.
Incomplete miscarriage. When you've passed most of the pregnancy tissue, but some still remains in your uterus, you've had an incomplete miscarriage. Usually you've passed the fetus, but part of the placenta remains. You might experience heavy bleeding.
Missed abortion. In the past, doctors used the term missed abortion after a pregnant woman's uterus failed to grow and a fetal heartbeat was never heard. Today, doctors use this term when an ultrasound shows that the embryo has died or never even formed, but the mother has not yet had any signs or symptoms of a miscarriage.
you can go to the doctor and have a blood test done cause the pregnancy homone will still be in your system. if this has happened to you i am sorry i know what it feels like. good luck

It is possible to miscarry at any point in a pregnancy. It is unlikely you would see tissue, at three weeks, as the embryo or foetus would be very tiny at that stage. If you had heavy bleeding and cramping, you may have an infection, or some condition that needs medical help. Please see your doctor pronto! -- and no more unprotected sex. Men aren't built to pull out. It's one of the LEAST effective methods of birth control because 90% of the time it simply doesn't work. There's a reason why humans are programmed the way they are, and reproduction of the species is one of the basics. That means the guy doesn't want to pull out, and most times thinks he will but doesn't quite make it, or pulls out after. So PLEASE don't depend on that method.

properly i might assume it would take a short on an identical time as to come again to customary after the miscarriage. one among my SIL's has had 2 miscarriages and became into bleeding for approx each and every week after. i'm uncertain if thats standard i might say each and every person is diverse. yet whilst she did have a miscarriage merely 4 weeks in the past, she could no longer be very pregnant in any respect, if she is pregnant. and that i continually theory that a being pregnant attempt incredibly early is exceptionally no longer situation-free to p.c.. up. Kirk........... hahah. sorry he nonetheless makes me snort. Sis must be out boinking somebody else, as though kirk has the swimmers to get anybody pregnant. Please do no longer enable them to 2 breed :)

It's quite possible that you were pregnant. A little known fact is that most women don't know that they were even pregnant because their period comes on late and is heavier than normal. This may have been such an occurence and it was nature's way of ending a pregnancy which was not viable.
A miscarriage is possible at any time and is your body's way of "getting rid" of a pregnancy in which the baby is not developing in the correct way that it should.
If you still do not feel comfortable or well, please go to see your Doctor and he or she can advise you further.
Good Luck!

See a doctor immediately! If you are scared, go to your local Planned Parenthood.
It is entirely possible. You can miscarry after only a couple hours of fertilization and not even know about it. Get that checked out, because if there is in fact a miscarried 3 week fetus inside you, not removing it could cause you to become sterile, and never be able to have children.
PS NEVER EVER EVER use pull-out method!!!! It is VERY VERY VERY ineffective. It's kinda like Russian Roulette. And cleaning it won't help, those little guys thrive in water!

It is definitely possible. More than half of all pregnancies are terminated before the first month. Mostly it happens because of genetic defect with the baby that would not have allowed it to live as opposed to anything that would have been your fault. Don't be too concerned, but if you still think that you are pregnant see someone. Also, PLEASE try to find a more reliable method of birth control if you are not wanting a baby. I know how scary all of this can be and I hate seeing someone else have to go through it.
Good luck with everything.. my thoughts are with you.

It's possible to have a misscarriage at any time..From my experiences when I had my period I craved insane food, so I often thought I was pregnant..But now that I am pregnant it's different..If you had a miscarriage you would know. It would have been the most painful thing you have ever gone thru in your whole entire life, I know many people who have been through them, and they have said that they were curled up on the couch or in their bed in the fetal position for 3 days, then decided to go to the hospital and it wasn't pretty..You would definately know if you were pregnant.

Definately. If you're going to have a miscarriage it's most likely to happen in the first trimester. If you get to your 4th month you're pretty much good to go. If you lost tissue then it's possible you did. May want to check with your doctor. I dont know if he would be able to tell but it wouldnt hurt to ask.
