At the moment, with child's good care personally also on your agenda, you should take up selling the art or the making products (may be household) you are good at.

You may also pursue you hobbies which could give you some income as well.

To be honest, you are probably not going to find an honest job working from home. 95% of any opportunities you find will require a start up fee or money up front for materials. They are a scam, don't get sucked in!!

I encourage you to immediately put these jobs out of your mind. Here are some of my tips when looking for a job....

Networking - Register at your local Unemployment Office (you don't need to be on unemployment to register for their assistance). They often will have networking groups on a regular basis. They also are a good source for the jobs that never show up in the paper or online.

Check your local paper -- In many cases the paper's classified are now online.

Search Smart Online -- If you don't have a lot of time, spend most of your time at sites that aggregate the job feeds from several job search engines. Prominently these include indeed.com and thingamajob.com.

Organization -- I use a FREE online application that allows you to keep track of your ads, jobs you apply for, and other correspondence such as cover and thank you letters. It's a very useful tool that keeps track of your job search history. This site is jobsearchlog.com. Everything on it is completely free, nothing to buy, just use it when on your job hunt.

Good Luck,

Karen

There are some customer service call center type jobs that pay about $7 an hour and have no benefits. Try WillowCSN, a Miramar company that recruits for home based customer service. There is also LiveOps Inc. of Palo Alto, CA. This information is from an article in my local newspaper on "homeshoring".

I have been working from home for short time now. It really allows me to stay home with my five children. I don't have to host parties, sell, stock or deliver products. I don't have have to worry about collecting any money. We have been in business a little over 20 years and have been members in good standing with the BBB ever since the doors opened. Also at the end of 2005 we were awarded the BBB's Hall of Fame award. If you are intereseted email me at lesleelongoria@sbcglobal.net or check out my web sites and click on "Get More Info."

Actually they are not all gimicks. As a mater of fact, there are more ways to make money onlne that not. A couple of ideas are to write ebooks, these are one of the hottest items on the internet. Affiliate marketing is another. The list is endless. To get some more ideas you can go to this site where I got a couple of their products and they are helping me now. Good luck and take care of you new baby. Congratulations on staying at home.
