The movie is a cult classic. U have to see the movie several times and pick your favorite charcter, and dress the part when you got to the theatre, and act out that part w/ the rest of the audience.... Never seen the movie myself......heard enough about it to know I don't want to.....

Wear whatever you want, that's the fun of it. Now if you really want to be campy, then try to copy some of the costumes. For the less uninhibited, you could go as Janet (Brad for a guy). How to learn where to say and do what, you have to have either rented the movie or, preferably, watched it in the theatre. In the theatre, just follow what the audience is doing. If you want to learn the timewarp dance or something, you should rent the movie (it's out on DVD).

I'd recommend renting the movie first (so you get an idea of what you're getting into) and as for what to wear copy the characters OR ask someone who's been to a show! I had a great time when I went, you have to be willing to "get into it" enjoy the show!
