they send me and I don't know how ....ver yver yObscence ID in persian and I try to remove it ...but I can't!!!!!! please help me!!

from my yahoo messenger contact list ...I don't want just igonore , I want to remove it ..because it is so obscence ID word!!!!!!!!

those are good answers . but you also have to block that user and you have to remove the from your Buddie list
click yahoo messenger scroll to privacy go to ignore. put the persons id you want to ignore click yes click OK at the bottom if you have them on your Buddie list go to contact on ur Buddie list and delete their name

There is an option to 'ignore' someone's messages - Click on 'friends' and then 'edit ignore list' and add the name. Of course, I have the Mac version which might be easier, but there must be a way to do it on Windows too!! On mine, 'friends' is on the bar at the top of my screen when I'm using Yahoo! IM.
There is also the option to 'remove friends' after clicking on 'friends'.

Just delete him from your contact list. When he messages you again, that's the time that you click on ignore... and report as spam, if you like.
I have the same problem as you so now before I add them to my list, I make sure to screen their intentions first. They can still send me messages anyway but I can choose to ignore them.
