why don't you use a neutral tone lipgloss to enhance your natural lip color. dark is nice too. i'd recommend Bobbi Brown's lipgloss.

I know this sounds weird, but I like to use stuff in multiple purposes...you can try the sticks of concealer, just dot it on very lightly...it kinda conditions them for the other layers.

go to MAC. They have tons of colors and if you tell them what you want, they'll choose the correct color for you!
