Yes, it's a hoax and complete satire. It's making fun of fundamentalist Christian groups.

I can assure if that were true you'd have heard about the lawsuits it on national news at night and the condemnation by President Bush himself. Just check out the one word in the link, baptist, which I was raised. Now every over zealous idiot I hear in the religious political arena is usually a baptist. I've had a lotta time to research stuff on the computer since being injured, and I've read a lot on sites such as "MySpace" since hearing all the news controversy. I was really astonished at the numbers of young gay teens and even pre teens who believe thats their destiny sexually. I didn't find them abnormal or having any different thoughts or problems than any other kid trying to find himself and his way in such a confuseing fast paced world. I was actually amazed at how honest some could be, for I don't think I would have or could have ever had such honesty and devotion to seeking who they believe and /or know themselves to be. I'm grown, been in police work since graduating high school, been in several deadly force confrontations, and I still wonder sometimes who I really am and have I made the right decisions. People need to grow up, and quit being so judgemental and critical of those who have ideas and beliefs they disagree with or whcih contradicts the religion they were taught to believe. But in America, I can assure you as part of the goverment for many years, that will never happen as long as we have politicians seeking election.

Every time elections are up now the good old boys bring up gay marriage. Sad thing is, it works because of people that post crazy junk on the website mentioned. Gore and Kerry both lost because they don't have an answer for the relegious bigots in America. Really, really sad.

Many far right conservative christians believe that gay people are recruiting people to become gay. What they don't understand is that people don't just wake up and say, "Oh, I guess I'll be gay today." This program is not to recruit gays, but rather to raise awareness that gay people do exist, also, it is to raise tolerance of gay people, and let gay people know that they are not horrible people. It is unfortunate that people feel this way, and I am sorry to say that it is not a hoax.

I couldn't find proof that it's a hoax (actually I'm sure it's completely fabricated), but a site I like to check for all questionable emails, chain letters is snopes.com
They let you know the truth before you start passing it along.

Total hoax. trying to scare the population into throwing their kids in substandard academic religious schools that are "morally safe". They are bigots pure and simple.

This is an over-blowing of a situation.

No teacher is going to "recruit" anyone for any reason.

You have more to fear from heteros porking their students.

This site has been around for a long time and isn't a real baptist church.
