Say you have a terminal Illness that you know will cause you pain and anguish should you have the right to kill yourself, (but only if you have a terminal illness.) Do others have the right to tell you that you can't? Are they allowed to tell you how to run your life?

I think we should all have the right to end our lives if we are terminal and the rest of our days would only be filled with pain and suffering. We are allowed to end a animals life if it is suffering but not a human life. I personally think this is totally rediculous but of course this is against the law. If more people would stand up and fight for our rights it may happen one day.
If done in a medical/hospice controlled setting then I don't see anything wrong with it as long as the terminal patient has agreed to it and they are of sound mind.

I believe we should have the right. Unfortunately, the law doesn't......you have to suffer through every moment no matter how painful until the end according to the "law". Maybe someday we will be more humane in our treatment of the terminally ill.

Pray, tell my acquaintances [if i had any] and kinfolk [i dont have plenty] to no longer subject because of the fact i've got lived existence nicely... even although I grew to become 20 at the instant. Then i'd purely supply away some stuff, discover residences for my pets, reserve a place to be burried, and circulate to the sea coast [yet no longer swim] to have a picnic with the community stray canine, because of the fact they won't be able to seize the ailment, perfect?

No matter what God has the final say...if you take your own life, your going to reside in hell with satan. Terminal illness is a terrible thing, but there is a reason for it, God has put us on this Earth with a purpose, no matter what it is, good or bad...I was a drug addict for most of my life, I wanted to commit suicide every day, but now I'm drug free, and alive. Suicide is too permanent.

The law says you cannot commit suicide of course but I think you should do whatever you need to do to get through it. I don't like pain and I think it would be easier when things started feeling really bad to just take a pill and go to sleep permanently.

Legally, yes they have a right. Morally and ethically....i dont agree with that. i think there comes a time you should be allowed to make that choice yourself. The law disagrees with me though.

I'm sorry, but I can't answer this, because this question isn't answerable. In my opinion, yes, but only if it is causing them pain, and they are a drag to the medicaid system. If you want your answer though, I suggest you look to a higher power. Only god, if there is a god, can answer this question truthfully.

You might as well just do it. The legal ramifications won't matter once you're dead. The legal consequence for attempted suicide in the past was.....death.
Just ignore the law.
