you can,t retrieve them if it was not set to save them
there is no way out to get them

Sorry to say, but technically, they aren't 'archive messages' if your archive wasn't set up in the first place. The internet is a marvelous thing, but as far as IMing is concerned there is no Recycle Bin. Sorry!

all the answers here are correct. If you didn't have it set up in the first place,there is nothing archived.

yeah.. authentic..issues have replaced plenty between me and my ex... and he or she is not any longer chatting with me.. yet reading her emails back and back keeps me satisfied to a particular quantity.
