HMmmm.... The next phase of our evolution is sort of being skinny, pale, nerdy looking beings with larger heads and squinted eyes. Only because we have gotten so lazy in our ways, that we have let our lives be consumed by computers, machinery and other objects doing everything for us that we've forgotten how to work for something that we want. Look at the children of today and look at pictures of our grandparents, you'll see the difference in the shape of the bodies, heads and limbs. As of, 2012, oh that year will come to the earth, but not as we know it. The way things are going, it was foretold by a few seer's that a great cataclism will hit the earth during either the first part of 2012 or near the end of the year. check out Nostradomis or Edgar Casey.

No one truely knows what the next phase of evolution will be for us, it's anyones guess, however the meer fact that evolution takes place suggests that, no, we will not look like this forever. It is true that it literally takes hundreds of thousands of years to have any major functional and noticable changes in our form. Some smaller examples of evolution already taking place would be that some people are being born without wisdom teeth, as it is we remove these in the majority of people since they serve no major function therefore some have naturally been born without them.

Just look at all the people now over seven feet tall? How many of those were on the planet 100 years ago?
