Question about how to play paintball?

there are different kindz of different matches I know that, "hide and seek", "capture the flag" and so on.. but typcially isn't it that if you get hit once you are out of the game? How does it work excatly, what are the basic rulez that apply to all games?

The rules are generally announced at the beginning of each match and can change, like house rules when you play poker.
Here's how it goes generally
1. Keep your face mask or goggles on at all times. (This is the hardest for me because the damn things fog up my glasses)
2. If your face mask or goggles come off, cover your eyes and yell "Dead Man" (This may be different in different places)
3. If someone yells dead man, cease fire and don't move until the all clear is given.
4. If you get hit and the paint ball doesn't burst, it doesn't count. If it makes a mark, you're dead. Yell "Dead Man" and then leave the field.
5. When one team is out of guys, the other team wins. The last guy is required by an unwritten rule to go down in a blaze of glory.

I think that's it, but generally you do a rundown before the start of each match to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Once you are hit you are out of that particular game. The aim is to stay alive as long as possible (not get hit) and in most of the games to get from your base to the opponents base and capture their flag and then take it back to your base. The paint-ball I have been to in Sydney and Surfers have as your package a number of games in different battlefields. They Sydney one goes for half a day and includes a BBQ lunch. The main thing to remember is to use protection (especially in the groin area and facial regions) as the paint balls do hurt.

well the first thing u do is pick teams then shot at each other when u get hit ur out of the game. the team wit peeps left win after every one on the other team is out.

the rules depends on the field rules or if it is a tournament. also if you and our friends play off of a field and play your own game, you can make up your own rules.

when i play, we usually go until one team has eliminated the entire other team. when you get shot, you're out; and when your whole team is out, then you guys lose. i think it's more fun that way.
