I think that people just like to hear themselves talk..; or, they want to see if others agree with them. I, sadly, am one of those chatterers... need to learn to keep my mouth shut. I seem to have a problem with those uncomfortable silences, though.. you?
Perhaps that's why people state the obvious...?
