It's not oil subject, Finally Venezuela sells to America oil everyday, US is its main client. Chavez slanders Bush's name publicly but in the other hand He has a big business with America. Chavez wants to take over South America, He longs to be as Bolivar, The Libertor of five nations. His priority is to attack orally to a Big nation as The States and Bush, No well-seen around the planet, is his way to go. He considers himself Robin Hood kind-like nowadays, But He's crazy trying to change the world through his thoughts. He was a poor boy who now is rich and has the power. He's a Mico Mandante.

He KNOWS the USA wants his oil!!! Venezuela is almost more rich in oil than the middle east, how cheap gas could be for us IF we could get it from Venezuela rather than haul it all the way from the middle east! How do I know??? I live in Venezuela, and I'm american (USA), my mother and father BOTH work for American oil companies (Conoco/Phillips) Why is he so anti-american (who knows personal opinion he's NUTS) his biggest ally is Fidel Castro (another member of the I-Hate-the-USA Club). Why does he hate the USA because we stand for a democracy which as a basically self appointed dictator (oh excuse me he IS president, but only because he rigs the votes for himself AND fires anyone who votes against him, and makes sure they can NEVER work in Venezuela again), the USA goes against EVERYTHING he wants, money and power would not be his IF there were FAIR elections in Venezuela, the Venezuelans would boot him out faster than a skunk at a tea party IF they could) and without his position in power that means bye bye money. You know he basically OWNS Citgo (hell I will NEVER buy from THAT gas station EVER AGAIN I'll run on empty and hope I make it to the NEXT gas station rather than fill his pockets with MY hard earned money) his people are EXTREMELY poor and he fills his pockets with the natural riches of his country while his people STARVE. I have seen the poverty here, it is NOTHING like it is in the USA, the people are scared of him and feel hopeless that their situation will never change, and frankly I don't see that it will. It is a shame. The Venezuelan people are such a WONDERFUL people, very friendly (and extremely tolerant of my TERRIBLE spanish), and this country is absolutely beautiful (it's a shame they don't take better care of their environment). It just PISSES me off that they are forced to live their lives with this man as their president (a lot of the Venezuelans have an anti-american sentiment, like Chavez, BUT I think it's mostly because they want to have what the USA has and/or it has to do with the fact that if they don't express these anti-american feelings they could very well lose EVERYTHING). By the way around where I live (where the american oil companies do a LOT of their business) the Venezuelans do NOT show anti-american sentiments, they like the USA (mostly because we bring in a LOT of money into their community). And I honestly LOVE it here, such a pity about the president (shoo fly don't bother me).

america isn't anti-venezeula at all. Chavez cuased many problems with US. He is a very paranoid man, and yes he needs therapy or something. Its a shame that hes in power.

Chavez isn't the nicest guy in the world. I remember a month ago he tried to become a communist leader (wanted to be permanent leader in venezeuala).
Then he got upset over a US VIDEO GAME (that was in no way endorsed or sponsored by the US gov or army) and he claimed the US was using this video game to prepare for war or invasion
He also is making ties with Fidel and other anti-american leaders.

Chavez also meddles into the affairs of other south american countrys (recently with peru and columbia elections) then turns around and says America meddles into affairs of venezeuala and other countrys too much.
Also, Venezeuala once said that his god was allah (trying to please iranians I guess)
Now chavez is having venezeulian troops on the columbian boarder, saying that he is "preparing for a possible invasion from columbia and US"

so basically, this guy is insane-- hes nuts. The list goes on too. Columbia votes conservative and he says "OMG THEY ARE PRO AMERICAN AND WANT TO INVADE US!!!" he really is a phyco.

Chavez is on a soap box. He is endeared to his people by taking on the most powerful nation in the world. He can grandstand all he wants, but most people outside Venezuela realize that it is empty rhetoric.

He is guaranteed popularity among the downtrodden, because many in the world see America as an arrogant nation.
