You need the fastest defragging program available. Windows built in drefrag is just TOO slow!! Try this one out here.............

I have a partitioned 250gb hard-drive, and this program defrags it in under 20 minutes. Also, be sure that nothing is running in the background while drefragging, this, along with heavy installs and uninstalls, makes the defrag process take even longer than necessary.
Read here about Eclectic's simplified explanation about what defragging does, under the article titled, "Information Spaghetti"............

what they said above, plus, if you have a 60GB hard drive like me, be prepared to come back from lunch or dinner, and find that it's still working on defraggin' the freakin' drive.
So defragger be warned, plan for a few hours of mind numbing defragging. Go see a movie or something. Don't sit there and wait for it to get done. lol

Defragmenter won't do this. First, delete any snap shots or video you could have downloaded. Then open the internet browser you used and maintain Ctrl, Shift, and Delete keys. That will allow your transparent your historical past and transitority documents. If you desire to keep doing that sooner or later them be certain you do not down load whatever and run the internet browser in personal mode (Ctrl, Shift, P). Private mode manner not anything you browse will probably be stored. That involves historical past and transitority documents. - Dominic

go to accessories, system tools and go to defragment and then just start it up. I would suggest doing it while you have no other programs running.

dont listen to these people they are lying to you. this is how. just scream at it at the top of you lungs. then if it doesnt defrag. take you shoe off and stand three feet away. (you MUST stand at least three feet away) then throw it at the computer. NOT the moniter.
if it still doesnt work then throw bowling balls at it all night.
