I want to know how I can find this number with out haveing to pay for anything. I also think it may be a cell number so how would I go about finding that out ?

I get calls like that too, and I cannot find the number. My only guess is that it is a telemarketer and the number isn't registered or displayed.

Go to 411.com and click perform reverse search lookup, enter area code and phone number, if land line, it will tell you who it is listed too and address (unless unlisted), if cell phone, it will list the carrier and area (City, St) it is in, but not to whom it's registered.

Well all the cellphones have the Caller ID, that you can figure it out, but as you say that it's not working, you can call your CellPhone company and ask them probably they will help you to find out who it's.

probably a telemarketer, most of the time the numbers aren't listed in directory
