The following hardware you need:

First yo got have a dvd drive to play the game.

Second to play a dvd movie on your computer need at least 500 mhz however you talking about a game so you should be shooting at least a ghz or more

Third you need at least 2 512 mb ram equal 1 gb it is your best bet however any over 1 gb is waste of money.

A true gamer builds thier PC---- LOL
That used to be the case 5 years ago when it was cheaper. Now you can go to Dell.com and get a good PC for around $1200.00 and put another $400.00 into it and make it a rocket. But, to answer the first question. Anything with a DVD drive will play the game. Maybe not at a good resolution or good frame rate. But, it will play it.

A true "gamer" would build their own computer! That way, you'll get everything that you need, and then some! You might even save some $$$! An AMD processor(Dual-Core), 2 GB RAM, 512MB video card, Plextor DVD+-RW, Lite-On DVD/CD Combo, WD Raptor 10,000RPM SATA hard drive(s), 600 watt power source, lots of case fans.

Go to the store, find games you think you might like, copy the requirements, then go computer shopping, remembering that anything you buy will be outdated in 6 months. Buy something you can upgrade (stay away from name brands, Dell, Compaq, IBm, etc)

Ciao.
