Yes they can. Of course. They do not have tough opponents at all. Winning against Trinidad, Canada, Mexico and USA is very possible . No doubt. Jamaica, El Salvador, Cuba and etc are not strong teams. If Trinidad make it, Guatemala can do it too.. Why do you think an overrated team like Mexico whose pride after 12 appearances is that once upon time they qualified to 1/4th at home, can qualify and Guatemala can not?

Man I hope so!
I grew up in Guatemala and those guys deserve a break!
They work hard, but unfortunately they must hold regular lifestyles (regular jobs, family, etc) at the same time they practice for soccer. That's not fair when you compare it to other countries where their national team ONLY lives for soccer.
Guatemalans are good and corageous, I truly hope they make it to the World Cup soon.

i think of Greece has a greater acceptable threat to qualify. i might choose to work out Canada qualify yet i do no longer think of they're going to have the skill to get previous the U. S. or Mexico. so some distance as i understand there will be 3 communities from CONCACAF in 2010 and there is the potential of a 4th team so we are going to easily must wait and notice.

I'm sure they can. It is a matter of putting the right squad together with the right coach.
