Is society eveolvong in such a way that is no longer considered a "desperate" way to meet people, or do you think it still carries a stigma?

I am wondering how many people who do online dating are
1-already married....seen lots of guys do this
2-been married and divorced many times over
3-players who just want to have sex and nothing more

I think there is always going to be that stigma. but it is being lessened with all the sites out there. Especially like myspace and stuff like that. I haven't been impressed with any of the people I have met, that I started talking to online. From my experience, it's mostly been desperate people. So It's going to be a while before that comes into further normalization of our culture.

Still carries a stigma. But I hit the jackpot online, so it could happen to anyone.
