I don't think it is high school I miss. I think it is having my parents worry about paying bills and making dinner.

Sometimes, although there were some bad moments too. I just miss the regularity of it. Waking up everyday, getting dressed, talking to people who you think you are going to see for the rest of your life, only sadly, that isn't to be. Going to Senior Prom, worrying over whether or not you are going to get asked out for a date. It's just a memory that when you think of, it brings back all sorts of nostalgia. You compare the person that you were then, to the person that you are now, and you wonder, was that ever me? Did I act this way or that? Did I really use to hang out with those people? It's makes you sad for a minute, knowing that you will never get it back. But then, you realize what you have today, what you are today, and you know that in the end, the things that you did when you were in High School, was just preparation for who you are today.

No. When I was in high school mostly my drinking got into a habit by my sophmore year and I couldn't wait to get my hands on the booze and couldn't concentrate on my work half the time when I was there, so why would I want to put myself through that again. The thing was, I couldn't wait for school to end so I could go home and drink me a little.

No, I would not want to be back in high school in 1962, where I dropped out and got married at the age of 15 rather than have to dissect a frog.
No, I would not want to be in high school today, as I understand it from the kids who ride the bus with me to San Lorenzo Valley High, which is supposedly one of the better public schools. The propaganda machine that is a modern public school does not appeal to me, the social pressures the kids try to cope with, the total nonsense on every side, does not appeal to me in the slightest.
No, you have reminded me how I would not like to be young again, at least not that young!

I really DO wish to be back....Why? because I would do things so differently my life today wouldn't be as rough. I'd have a better education, a better job and a better life for my children. I tell my kids all the time that they should try their very best to learn as much as they can so that they can go on to college and get a degree because in todays world if you don't have a degree it's hard to find a job that pays well enough to live comfortably.

I have to say there were so many things I am happy to be past that stage of my life. I was a good kid, but I wasn't exactly a chick magnet back then. I did much better in my college years, but that's not really what it is all about. I was a great athlete, had more money in my savings account than I do at 28, and I think I was more responsible :-) But not having a car, needing to get permission to do things, and not being able to drink kinda sucked...

I do only for the social aspect of it all. When it comes to classes, I'd probably be worse at skipping than I already was. But if I could go back and change a few things in HS I probably would. But I don't know if 4 years of it, I'd be able to handle again.

Yes kids don't know until they get out how much they miss it. I am smarter now and could do better. I am more outgoing now so would make more friends. I would go to the Prom I never went to. I would go to the games I never went to. I have got to see 3 of my kids graduate from my high school though.

I am in high school right now, and let me tell you it is not much fun at all. Ok, I admit, the actual school part is ok, but WHY DO THEY INSIST ON GIVING HOMEWORK AND PROJECTS?!! I haven't had any free time for like two or three weeks (unless you count this as free time...whoops) I have had seven projects, and daily homework too, in the last few weeks, and my schedule has been booked. Sure, I bet it may get harder in the future for me, but taking all advanced classes now is KILLER!

I am... One more year to go. I don't like it because the field isn't narrow enough-- I have to be well-rounded and not go off on my own path of interest. Plus, I'm tired of being around the sluts/druggies. I imagine in college I'll be a lot happier, in my own field of interest and able to get away from those I don't like.

No of direction no longer. nevertheless as skinny as i replaced into in extreme college. constantly been skinny and after 2 little ones nevertheless skinny. nonetheless i'd desire to be 3 hundred pounds and as long as my little ones have been chuffed and healthful i'd be thrilled. and that i'd in no way want to revisit my extreme college days. a number of years in my Nineteen Twenties would be extreme high quality to revisit, yet in no way on the sake of the wellness and secure practices of my little ones. they are my actual exhilaration in existence.
