how can you get rid of Roaches without having to call an exterminator??

Mix some powdered sugar with Twenty Mule Team Borax, about fifty fifty. The borax kills the roaches. They ingest it while going agter the sugar. Using a plastic squeeze bottle like you might find in restaurants, squirt the mixture along all of the baseboards in the house. If you have a basement, put it on the sills and floor studs, and put all along the edges of the attic, if you have one. Repeat as needed. Roaches tend to infest neighboring houses and trees, so you will probably have to retreat the house regularly.

Another thing you can put down is diatomaceous earth, or silica. This is very effective since they track it back to the nests and it helps kill other roaches too. It's a very sharp almost microscopic partaicle that cuts throught their carapaces, causing them to lose bodily liquids and die, almost like bleading to death.

If you don't mind using poison, get Bengal roach spray. Apply it around the baseboards and closed areas where roaches can hide. It does not leave a residue. After that, you probably will find only DEAD roaches! It works better than any other product I have tried.

Well, If you live in a apartment, it may be impossible to get totally rid of them. Other wise, keeping your kitchen and rest of your place free of any food that may be lying out somewhere will also greatly reduce them. Roaches eat what we dont eat and if its sitting out, then you are going to have them. Also, they have these things called foggers, basically, you cover everything in your home with plastic sheets, then you place 2 or 3 of these things at various places in your house and set them off, they emmit a fog like poison that kills them.

A natural alternative I heard of is to spray tobasco sauce diluted with water around your doors and baseboards.

WAL-MART if you find a fogger by Bengal it will kill all of them I move into a house in the country a few years ago and we have a dog and she lives in the house and the fogger when off in the house and she was not harmed at all and you don't even have to cover nor remove all your dishes nor you food unless its open .. raid roach gel $9.00 a tube but worth it. i live in a mobile home park and use it once every three months and i never see any!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is good stuff if u use it right. i also use it on 11 rent houses i take care of.
