Republican, I must say am damn proud of it too. Both of them, the democrats and republicans have had bad presidents but even though I am poor I will say this at least you know what the republicans are about and they don't care if you know it.The democracts try to please everyone in orderjust to get in office. Heres a question to all liberals, say you built a company from the ground up.You put your heart and soul into your store or whathave you.It became a chain like McDonalds. You sold it became a millionare. Now a democrat wants to charge you more than your share to make up for the losses that go to certain people who arent making the effort to find jobs that are available. Is that fair?I remember when i was 17 and was homeless under mr.bill clinton.I tried to claim welfare through a friends address to keep me alive you know what they told me I made to much money.Instead I made, even though i am scrapping it think a flat tax is a hell of a lot better than how rich you are

I refuse to pledge support to either party. I am an Independent with Libertarian leanings. If I have to chose between Corruption or Corruption-Light, I go with the light version (democrats), less guilt, but still leaves that nasty taste in your mouth.
edit: Sorry, bungibabe, but I was a little offended by your "godless" comment. If I'm looking for someone to lead at my church, I go with the best Christian. If I'm looking for someone to lead my country, I go with the best American. While God may play a factor in that decision, there are other factors involved, too. I'd vote for an atheist if I thought he could do a good job.

I was a Democrat for many, many years. Became an Independent, but voted Bush twice. I just can't seem to find morals on the left. I look hard for them, but where are they? I feel so sorry for our children being taught by liberal teachers and professors telling their personal beliefs. Our kids can't think for them selves because of the schools today. People who say they believe in God and eternity yet vote for the Godless, baffle me big time.

Democrat since Nixon, that is when I got impressed with the facts that the Repuglican philosophy is to give welfare to the rich and to leave the poor and middle class behind, Reagan, Bush, and Bush, I rest my case.

Independent! I was a Democrat back in the early '70s but I long ago saw the error of my ways. (Eventually life slaps you in the face, you could say.)

I've been a Democrat but I'm voting Independent from now on. I'm sick of supporting political parties who don't do anything for anyone but themselves.

I have zero respect for either party! Both are in biz purely for personal enrichment. The evils of the two combined has been devastating to our nation and the rhetoric they spew devisive.
