If these polls are representative, most people think President Bush is at least as bad as Osama bin Laden, but still think he was right to go to war. Can anyone explain this apparent discrepancy?

These are not scientific polls, it is not a controlled cross section but rather it depends who is on at the time. I think that the support for the war is low also. From the scientific polls.

I don't know why people think it was right to go into Iraq. Maybe brainwashed and scared of "the terrorist threat". I don't think these people pay attention. Not really saying that it was a horrible thing to do to take out Saddaam but more on the priorities of the U.S. and the world in general. There were far higher threats to us and much higher priorities for the world than Iraq...
