Just try to stay busy with friends and family. The rule of thumb is that it takes 1/2 as long as the relationship lasted to get over it.

hey what going on with you are you ok well they say when a door close there is another door open just be happy you have your freedom try and do things that makes you move forward not things that remind you of your ex if you not sure what you want just ring him up and talk about if he/she still have feelings for you. there are plenty fishes in the sea just listen to your heart. good luck slow it down you got a life ahead of you just enjoy yourself and keep on with this it will help you and keep you busy as well.
it not good to keep holding something that doesn't want you or in any other reasons just think before you speak thats what my teacher always say.

I can see by yr question that you havent let go yet! To change yr focus you wld have to change what you are focusing on....do you get what I mean? I.E. you don't WANT to get over it because you probably didn't handle whatever caused the breakup in the first place. My advice is to decide what you want to do about this. Take action. Either way, you could move on, or seek to handle and the ex.
hope this helped.

It took me years to get over the man that I so loved...nearly ten! I stayed busy so I didn't have too much time to dwell on it, but it was until I met & married the man of my dreams that my ex finally turned into warm, wonderful memeories instead of a dull aching pain..........someday, you'll feel better, hang in there.

How do you know that you aren't over him? If you are still crying over it, then you need to see a therapist, and chances are, he will prescribe you a medication for depression. But, you need to be pro-active in recovering your broken heart. Are you back in the dating scene? Are you spending time with girlfriends? Do the things that make you happy, and learn to enjoy life again. Good luck to you.

It takes approximately 2 years to get over an EX!
Dont be in a hurry, and dont have contact with him/her. If they come back to you for sex, just say NO! (Because if you do, give it to them, then they and you cant move on with your lives).
I wish you well..
