My daughter's name is Tayler. She was at my sister's house for lunch a few summers ago and my four year old nephewsaid Tayler's hair is the color of a tater tot (before going in the oven). It has been her nickname ever since. Now that she is 6, tater tot has been shortened to tater. People sometimes call her tater bug, tater salad, mashed taters, whatever as long as it has to do with taters. My daughter thinks it is great when someone comes up with a new nickname for her.
We also call her princess, drama queen, or chicken little (this was way before the movie came out and don't know how she the name).
She was born on Easter morning, and we were going nickname her bunny but that sounded kinda trashy like a stripper.

I called my daughter the minx or minnie the minx because she was a little cute little minx. Now she is grown and has a son of her own. My grandson is called papichoulo (spelling?) which his cousin called him and it seems to have stuck. He's such a voracious eater though and looks like a little buddah so we also call him fatso. I think we had better stop that though as it's not very nice.

my little girl gets called scoochie because of this thing she did way before she even crawled she would kind of scooch across the floor it was really funny to watch and the name stuck she is now 2 1/2

my husband calls our daughter by these nicknames: little cobra and habu (a snake found on Okinawa) because she can go from happy and smiley to cranky in a split second. i tend to call her peanut or peanut girl, but when she is having a very rough day "cobra girl" comes out.

When my son was two weeks old we started calling him Bubba. Everyone calls him that and we can't break it. He's four now.

Oh we have tons!!! Most of them would sound incredibly weird to others but one semi-normal one is Bubba (we have a boy, obviously)!!
