Ive never seen what could happen to a person, but its very dangerous to not get enough sleep. You can't function properly, which means you can't make good decisions. I heard driving extremely tired is almost as bad as driving drunk. Maybe a person who doesn't sleep for days has a sleeping disorder. If you have this problem, I would recommend going to the doctor if its a constant problem.

NOT GOOD! Sleep is very important to your body's repair and rest system. If you don't sleep, you will be disoriented, feel lousey, unable to concentrate; you may act weird. Seven hrs. in 3 days isn't any better. One of the best things you can do for yourself is get into a regular sleep pattern; catching at least 8 hrs. per night. You'll be refreshed and mentally fit.

If a person goes 9 days straight without any sleep, your body's systems will shut down. I usually get 4-6 hours of sleep every night, and i feel bad, so your situation is kind of serious.

This guy, in Taiwan or Hong Kong, I can't remember...lived in a cyber cafe for three months to get away from his wife and he died in his chair in front of the computer terminal...cause of death was heart failure, brought on by inhaling too much cigarette smoke and lack of sleep, or so they thought.

Sleep is essential to life. take the time for it.
