x=wy/z varies jointly means that x is proportional to w and y.
Varies inversely means that x is proportional to the
reciprocal of z (1/z)
x=wyk/z K is the constant. You must use the values of x, w, y,
and z to solve for k.
4=12*10*k/5 Substituted

4=120k/5

4=24k

k=1/6 Cancelled out 24

x=wyk/z to solve for x

x=9*14*(1/6)/0.1 Substituted

x=21/0.1 Multiplied 9 by 14 by 1/6

x=210 Solved

x² = x+6 x² - x - 6 = 0 (x - 3)(x + 2) = 0 So x = 3 or - 2 x² + 2x = 0 x(x + 2) = 0 So x = 0 or - 2 60 = x² - 4x x²- 4x - 60 = 0 (x - 10)(x + 6) = 0 So x = 10 or -6 4x = x² - forty 5 x² - 4x - forty 5 = 0 (x - 9)(x + 5) = 0 So x = 9 or -5 -6x = x² + 9 x² + 6x + 9 = 0 (x + 3)(x + 3) = 0 (x + 3)² = 0 So x = -3 -15=x² + 8x x² + 8x +15 = 0 (x + 5)(x + 3) = 0 So x = -5 or -3 -9x = x² + 14 x² + 9x + 14 = 0 (x + 7)(x + 2) = 0 So x = -7 or - 2 desire that helps. =D

x = kwy/z, where k is a constant
4 = k(12)(10)/5
4 = 120k/5
k = 20/120 = 1/6

So x = (1/6)wy/z
x = (1/6)(9)(14)/(0.1)
x = 210
