I recently fell for my best guy friend. I made the mistake of telling him, and now we don't talk that often and he seems to avoid me. I understand that we'll never be more than friends, but is there a way to repair our friendship?

Talk to him and try to find out why he is acting this way. Is he shy around you? Is it that he doesn't feel the same way and he doesn't know how to handle telling you the truth? Just talk to him and tell him that your friendship is really important to you above and beyond anything romantic. Remember, the goal here is to get your best friend back, not to indulge into an emotional blackmail that will cause more harm than good. Be honest, and let him share with you his thoughts. Be emotionally mature though if he rejects you as a lover, you should be able to assume the role of the friend again.

Tell him it's coo if he doesnt like you, but you still wanna be friends. If he still doesnt seem to talk to you much, then he isnt a good friend anyway. You dont have to be his friend just cause you like him. If he's worth keeping as a friend, he'll still like you as a friend. If he keeps acting wierd then he's just a wierdo and who cares about him.
